Through Aug 6: Ohio State Fair: The Ohio State Fair brings you the best of Ohio agriculture and live entertainment. Eat food-on-a-stick, scream down the Giant Slide, spin around on carnival rides and cheer the pig races. See the State Fair website for daily specials and headliners.
Aug 4-6: Dublin Irish Festival: One of Central Ohio’s most popular events! The Dublin Irish Festival features 7 stages with 65 live acts including musical performances, dancers, and more! Experience Irish traditions, costumes and entertainment along with delicious food and beverages.
Aug 9-13: COSI Farm Days: Meet local farmers, climb on farm equipment and try your speed on a pedal tractor course. Educational, hands-on exhibits with plenty of fun for the kids.
Aug 18–19: Columbus Food Truck Festival: Choose from traditional American fare, ethnic specialties and gourmet delights from over 70 vendors. There’s also live music and entertainment, along with a variety of arts & crafts. Located at the Columbus Commons.
Aug 19: Wag! Dog Festival: Bring your pooch to Prairie Oaks Metro Park in Hilliard for a fun-filled day. See agility demonstrations, obtain pet care info, and let Fido enjoy free treats and product samples. Explore dog-friendly walking paths, swim areas and more. Free!
Aug 24–27: Obetz Zucchini Festival: A small-town festival with big entertainment! The Obetz Zucchini Festival brings you live music, a car and motorcycle show, pageants, a petting zoo, carnival rides, and zucchini! Free admission includes concerts! Parade takes place on Saturday, August 26 at 11:30 a.m.
Aug 25-26: Columbus Summer Beerfest: Over 300 craft beers to sample, plus delicious food from some of the best food trucks in Columbus. Live music. Advance tickets offer a discount; special tickets available for designated drivers. Located at Express Live in downtown Columbus. Enjoy responsibly!
