Welcome the longer days and the warmer weather by enjoying family-friendly, outdoor activities, or take in a home show or film festival! Here are suggestions to help you make plans!

March 31-April 2. Columbus Home Improvement Show. Held at Cardinal Hall at the Ohio Expo Center. Browse hundreds of informative displays by contractors, home service providers and vendors. See demos for home improvement projects and enjoy

If you enter negotiations directly with the builder, without our representation present, we won’t be able to help you save money or negotiate upgrades and repairs!

April 1. Columbus College of Art & Design Art Fair. Explore and purchase exceptional creations by CCAD students and alumni. Early bird, “first look” admission at 9 a.m. is $20; general admission at 11:00 a.m. is $5.  Art sale proceeds go directly to the artists, and proceeds from ticket sales support student programming.

April 8. Easter Bunny Brunch at Columbus Zoo & Aquarium. 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. at the Africa Event Center. Enjoy a breakfast buffet and an Easter Bunny photo op! Also features animal encounters and face-painting for the kids. Pricey, so plan ahead: $30 members, $40 non-members. Advance registration required.

April 15. Upper Arlington Easter Candy Hunt at Thompson Park, 10 a.m. sharp; get there early for parking and group assignment! Separate search area provided for kids with special needs.  For kids ages 9 and younger. Thomas Chocolates will provide prizes for those who find the rare Golden Eggs.

April 15. Westerville Bunny Hop 5k and Spring Eggstravaganza. Held at the Westerville Sports Complex. Egg hunt at 10 a.m. for kids 10 years old and younger. Get there early for age group assignment! Kidz Zone opens at 9 a.m. with inflatables, games, petting zoo and crafts. The Bunny Hop 5k is at 8 a.m., open to runners and walkers of all ages.

 April 19-23. 65th Columbus International Film & Video Festival. The oldest film festival in the United States! Presented by Columbus College of Art & Design, the festival showcases independent student and professional films from around the world. For more information, visit columbusfilmfestival.org.
