Advocate. Advisor. Exclusive Buyer’s Broker. These are just three ways to describe Andrew Show of Buyer’s Resource Realty Services. Born and raised in Columbus, OH, Andrew has seen an abundance of success throughout his career. As a kicker for his high school football team, Andrew was recruited for and attended The Ohio State University where he completed a double major in Marketing and Finance and a minor in aviation in just three years.
The now successful Exclusive Buyer’s Broker has had an eclectic (yet impressive!) career path, with a commercial pilot and flight instructor license and experience owning a small trucking operation at the age of 22. He has held different positions with a variety of companies, but was ultimately fascinated by the real estate industry.
Andrew became a real estate investor in 1983, purchasing and improving homes for the purpose of renting and reselling them. In the process, he became aware of the lack of dedicated representation available to home buyers, and the idea of becoming an Exclusive Buyer’s Broker for Columbus home buyers took hold.
Andrew obtained his real estate license in 1992 and his broker’s license in 1995, becoming one of Ohio’s rare Exclusive Buyer’s Brokers. His passion for doing what’s best for each and every client is evident in the many testimonials and professional accolades he has received during his career. Whether it’s helping clients find a first home, relocate, or find the perfect place to retire, Andrew enjoys helping people at various stages of their lives and finding solutions for their needs.
Andrew’s high standards of integrity and professionalism have made him a trusted, recognized leader in the real estate industry. He was a founding member of the Columbus Independent Brokers Association in 1997, and serves as the Vice-President in 2017. He was President of the National Association of Exclusive Buyer Agents during 2003-04 and has served several terms as a regional director.
Andrew is a longtime corresponding committee member for the Ohio Association of Realtors Legal Issues and Professional Standards committees. He has served as Chair of the Professional Standards Committee for the Columbus Association of Realtors. He has also chaired on committees for Professional Standards, Residential Membership, the Business Technology Forum and Residential Standard Forms. As of 2017, he is teaching real estate law as an Adjunct Professor.

While much of his time is devoted to helping his clients, Andrew still finds time to be active in various groups, organizations and activities. He and his wife are proud to be strategic partners of Heartbeat International. Andrew is a lifetime member of the Ohio State University Alumni Association, the American Motorcyclist Association and the Single Action Shooting Society. In his free time, he enjoys attending OSU home football games and riding his Kawasaki Drifter. As proud parents of two talented boys who have grown into fine young men, Andrew and his wife now look forward to the prospect of grandchildren while currently enjoying “empty-nester” hood!
